Labour law change in December 2016 - how will it affect a contract signed in August 2016

I am getting into a contract (for 1 year) as on this month. In the context of the labour law changes, how does it affect me?
a) Will the current contract be replaced by a new contract? If yes, what will be the effective date of that contract?
b) Am I still bound by the old law and still need an NOC for job change?
Thanks guys. They proposed 2 years, I negotiated it down to 1 year renewable. Hope this works per the law!!
Most of all new contracts will be for indefinite period (5 years). Breaking the Contract before the contract period warrants 4 years ban.
These are questions who no one can really answer at present..
The current uderstanding is that EVERYONE will have to sign new contracts when the new law comes into effect..
After that , you may leave a company after the end of contract and rejoin another without an NOC
