Domination over Apartment /Accommodation rental

I feel much painful to write here about my dilemma because I have been fed up with seeking an accommodation in Doha to my desired area so far. I have been working in a mid-level position in a private concern for about 7 years . I could not get suitable accommodation for myself to my affordable budget. The main areas like Al-Sadd, Al-Nasr, Bin Mahmood, Mundaza etc. are mostly dominated by Pilipino Nationalities who prefer to rent out their accommodation to their people only; be it bed space or be it room, not allowing other nationalities to get hired. I am not balaming them but it is their mentality . Now I have been currently staying with bachelors for about 6 years in sharing basis that are nuisance to me because I have suffered a lot by some wicked and rouguish minded room mates that casued me mental agony. Having determined to hire a single partitioned room with minimal facilites in the above said area where my workplace is at walkable distance, I could not get any accommadation to my taste. If I see the ads to my budget, that ads are mostly from Philipino guys who deny to rent out to other nationalities. The other nationalities unlike Philipinos rent out the accommodation to all nationalities except some few cases. A considerable number of Kerala people from India and Srilankan People have taken the same trend as Philipinos do. Due to such domination, most of the people who are holding medium level position and low level job find it very difficult to get hired the room or bed space because the rate that the room owner or incharge fix for even bed space is very high. They expats have to pay around 40% of their salary to accommodation only. Most of the real estate people rent out their rooms at high rate that middle career holding guys can not reach. I have witnessed there are so many flat in Al-Sadd and Al-Nasr area are unoccupied because the land lords do not rent out to low price. The Governement is overlooking this scenario going on in Qatar and not taking any steps to curb such a domination. I have not to got driving license so I can not reside in remote area like Wakra where the rent is very cheaper comparing to the eminent areas stated above. Qatar is a neutral country where a number of nationalities come to work to earn money. if one hire a full room and inhibit their people It does not matter. But it is pathetic to rent out a single room for their nationality only. The Government have to interfeare in this maatter and solve the problem at any possible way so that the occupants can get the room or bed space at cheap rate in their desired area. I have been much depressed due to non-availability of room so far and the annoyance meted out by my room mates in sharing accommodation made my health down. My workplace is near Al-Sadd and Al-Nasr area. I can afford up to 1400/- to a single partitioned room either attached with kitchen or bathroom. Sometimes I feel like resining my job and go to India for good beacuase I am in vexation. As I have some commitment and in compulsion to work for another two years bacuase I was homeless and recenely bought one old constructed home from my 8 years earnings. I am longing for a comfy small room to stay in because I have been suffering from Cervical Torticollis (neck pain) for about 2 years along with depression for which I have been taking medicine. So I just released my pent up feelings here that I intended to write for long time . I hereby appeal to those who have got any single room should come forward to hire out their accommodation or any family who have got extra room might sub-lease to me. I am assure I am a prompt rent payer on time. No issue will come from my side and God fearing taking namaz regularly.Or anybody who is a kind hearted guy may give me suggestion regarding this. Thanking you. My email : [email protected] (mob # 70051020)
