I am considering an offer of employment with Dolphin Energy, I wondered if anyone can advise if they are a good company to work for. Can anyone perhaps share any experiences or dealings with them, good or bad please.

I am to be based in Ras Laffan (living in Doha)We lived in Doha in 1997 - 1998 but I was wondering what the commute time and traffic is like? Any advice welcome on my questions or other advice about coming back to Doha would be great.

I would suggest that you do not remain in Doha but to come closer to Ras Laffan, here at the Al Sultan Beach Resort it takes 15 mins max from here to there.

We have various villas available for single occupancy, but think of the extra time you could have in bed in the mornings.

If you would like more information please do contact me.

All the best,

You can always go back to Doha on your days off - taxi from Al Khor no more than 50 QR.

They are amongst the best in Qatar, largely because QP has no involvement.......i would work for them! the commute may be possible by company bus which takes 1hour 15 minute of share a car pool which only tkaes 50 minutes on the old north road if you live put that way. Abut the same going up through Al-Khor. Either way has its pit falls, the north raod has more heavy trucks but i fell afer than the al-khor route and their are to many speeding idiots on that one - although speed cameras are helping. Why not live in the Al-Khor Community, DEL have villas there and its only a 25 minute commute. All commute times depend on RLC gate clearance rates.....which can suck eggs.
