you can approach labour departmt tomorrow itself . They will tell you to take air ticket from your pocket as you are not completed 2 years.

This is going to happen there.

If you agree ,Within 2 or 3 days you can go as cancelled. argue for the ticket . Tell them that you will approach human rights departmt.

Dont worry .

Good luck

If your statement is true, you can take legal action against the company and company will be blacklisted because the no one can play with the immigration. so go to the Immigration and inform them that without your knowledge, without signing any contract they have stamped your visa. this is Fraud. and regarding the Work, go to the National Human Rights committee and complain, I also have heard there are lot of companies here playing with the employees for money.

It is good you god the RP of Qatar. What is the problem when u enter KSA and they not accepted?? If u make visa to enter into KSA, u can enter. As a pre-requesite, while stamping KSA visa, if they ask do u want to keep RP of Qatar or cancel. U tell that u want to cancel then they will cancel. If the present co ready to release u to go back, without asking any compensation, u say thanks to them.

I agree with sabish babu .All of us has a freedom of choice Regardless of anything we are accountable in our own decision .You can take our advices or comments but in the end you will be the one to decide what you want and what to do .just do the right thing and be ready to face whatever consenquencies may happen this is not an issue of professionalism .This is to exercise your rights to choose and to decide what is better to you. just count the cost!!

You give resign and they cancel your RP what is fraud in this ???????????

You try to be smart that you will use that company VISA to travel free in GCC. No 1 can tolerate this cheat from you.

Company is required to cancel your VISA immediately as you resign as you are company responsibility if you did something they will be held responsible for that.

Now you are calling them fraud and want to go to other country on their RP. People like you are destroying image of their other county.

Now stop crying and go back to your country and wait for 2 years.

If the employee is not happy, he may leave the company anytime with advance notice & as per the QLL/Contract.

Companies should antisipate it.

Reply : You may go to any other GCC. But confirm that they cancel your visa in passport before you leave. Otherwise it may be an issue later for RP there.

He has a personal problem and instead of going back to his home country to solve the problem he wants to go to another GCC country. Will this solve his personal problem?

WK.. if the company didn’t find the guy suitable wont they terminate him? Then what about his job he left back home and paying for the agent etc... will they think about professionalism then?

As Arien said it must have been under process and got it stamped only the next day..they cannot recall the passport once its in the immigration..

In this guy’s situation...its not problem as he is planning to go somewhere else and Company cant stop him....can they? maybe he need to pay back the expenses incurred...

I just had one guy quit today after only a few weeks.

Cost:

My flight out to interview him (OK there were a few)

Flight to get him here

Visa

Medical

Accommodation

Uniform

Training

Cost to replace him - especially as the others we turned down are probably no longer available and we have to go through the recruiting process again.

WK, I still don't see a "lot of investment" in telling one guy to instruct or train another guy during office hours. They don't hire an external and expensive trainer from the west, don't they?

Dont worry about the stamping of your working visa, you can go anywhere, the formalities are not yet completed at all(Medical, Fingerprinting).your contract stated that both parties can terminate the contract anytime by submitting 1 month notice.Just pay the necessary fees to your employer and say goodbye

Its quite fine to quit before the completion of probation period, provided you have a contract which has the probation and other terms mentioned. YOu took the offer and joined without a contract signed, which is your own fault.

The RP is not stamped the day its submitted, it would have submitted much before you put your papers and may be got stamped only the next day.

LP how about training a new employee..

Salaries of people who spent time in training him?

By anonymous• 18 Jan 2011 09:35

How much exactly, WK? A flight ticket, maybe 2500 QAR and the RP, maybe 1250 QAR. "Lot of Investment????" During probation both parties can cancel at anytime.

FS company makes a lot of investment in a person when he is hired including giving up the chance to recruit someone else.

Think long and hard before accepting a job, joining at one place and after 3 months resigning because you got a better offer in another country is totally unprofessional and I simply despise that.

Job hopping after 3 months??

How unprofessional and one reason why sponsorship system is in place.
