Clarification Register of Engineers MMUP

Folks

can some one who has registered / or has knowledge help me understand MMUP registration for engineers please ? My working sector is information technology

1) DO people in IT profession have to register ?
2) Whats is the difference in their categories first, second and third ?
3) I read the process so how complicated is that ?

Its not meant for electrical, mech and civil alone but is also meant for others as I understand it. Any one with engineering qualification (any branch) has to register.

1- This is only applicable for Electrical, Mechanical and Civil Engineers ( MEP Trade). to apply for this you need to have Engineer profession written on your QID.

2- They have following classes...class 1( for 10 yr exp.),2(for 7 yr exp.),3(for 5 yr exp) and last trainee...

3- since you are not fulfilling point 1, take rest,,,,
