Some ideas on keeping yourself entertained on a rainy day

Although rain in these desert plains is the most welcoming sight any day, sometimes it can have its own drawbacks too.

Kids can’t go out to the park and keep on nagging in boredom, clothes just won’t dry easily and then you have those sneezes and coughs! All these can make anyone go crazy.

However, here’s a list of some ideas that we’ve come up with to keep boredom at bay during these rainy days.

1- Board games.

Board games are solely invented for these rainy days. Nothing can beat being engrossed over a board game and fighting over it. Some of our all-time favourite board games are, Taboo, Pictionary, the traditional Monopoly, Chess of course and etc. What are yours?

2- Movies and popcorn

Make some popcorn at home with loads of butter and play your favourite movie or a movie that you’ve been waiting to watch!

3- Go cosy with a novel

If you have some free time in your hands without kids to look after or an office to rush to, then this is for you. One of our favourite things to do on a rainy day is to bury our nose in a crime novel while sipping hot Karak! You’ll be amazed at how time would fly.

4- Bake away!

Rainy days are the days to turn the oven on. Bake whatever you feel like or your favourite recipe. So what do you like to bake?

5- Organize a treasure hunt for your kids. Write clues, hide them in various places and make your kids to find them! Remember, the clues should lead to a treasure.
