Summer temperatures may be picking up, but you can still fit in a well-timed trip to the beach when the weather is agreeable. Qatar features a number of beaches for women only, and if you are looking to have a fun filled time with your girlfriends, grab your beach essentials and visit these beaches in Qatar.

Al Qarma Beach Garden 

Al Qarma Beach Garden is a small beachfront park nestled in the coastal town of Al Khor. The beach is well facilitated with benches, umbrellas and picnic tables to give you the idyllic beach experience. At Al Qarma Beach Garden you can have a picnic, enjoy a refreshing swim or relax as your kids explore the play areas. The area is fenced off completely, with a guard room at the entrance ensuring that all entry rules are followed.

Location: Al Khor

Timings: 5 am - 10 pm

Facilities: Lighting, benches, picnic tables, umbrellas, parking and play areas for kids

974 Beach (Ras Abu Aboud Beach)

974 Beach stands out with its iconic ‘Doha Mountains’ sculpture, featuring a stack of stones in the colours of the Olympic rings. Aptly located in Doha with an unobstructed view of the West Bay skyline, 974 Beach is easily accessible and well facilitated ensuring that you have a hassle free experience. If you enjoy a bit of adventure, try some of their water sport activities. For a more laid back experience, plan ahead for a quintessential picnic or refreshing swim.

Location: Ras Abu Aboud

Timings: 10 am – 6 pm

Facilities: Beach chairs, umbrellas, toilets, restaurants, kiosks, parking and more

Days: Every Tuesday and Saturday only 

Entry ticket: QAR 35 for adults QAR 15 for kids

Al Mamlaha Beach

A ladies only beach located in the North of Qatar, Al Mamlaha Beach is an excellent spot to unwind and enjoy a picnic, barbeque or a swim with your friends. Spanning approximately 15,000 square meters, the beach is completely fenced off ensuring you have the utmost privacy. 

Location: Al Ghariyah (North of Qatar)

Timings: 9 am - 10 pm 

Facilities: Lighting, toilets, places for barbeque, benches, umbrellas and more.

Simaisma Ladies Beach 

Located in the north of Qatar, off Simaisma Family Beach, the Simaisma Ladies Beach is specifically dedicated spot for ladies and young children only. It is well facilitated with shades and lighting ensuring that you can enjoy the beach at any time of day.

Location: Simaisma (North of Qatar)

Timings: 8 am - 9 pm

Facilities: Lighting, umbrellas and toilets

Entry ticket: From QAR 50 per car
