Engineer visa and scar on lungs

Last week I went to Ruhmaila hospital for Montex(PPD) test and for Sputum test. PPD test was border case as I had taken BCG vaccination during my childhood. The test Sputum test was negative. Now they have given me appointment to meet the doctor on 12th of October 2016.

Today, I went to SCH and meet the Visa doctor in room no 117 and he after seeing my Engineer Visa asked to take my original certificate to the Medical council in the first floor. I went to the MC as advised by the doctor. The doctor at medical council gave me a declaration form and asked me to return with the duly filled declaration form and the my engineer degree certificate duty stamped by MOFA ( Ministry of foreign affairs). On receipt of both the documents, he will clear my case. Thank god. Om sai ram.

For those following this post, my case is recent, just this May 2016. My uncle's case is old but since he has the same profession, I am assuming it will still follow the same process.

How old is ur case and ur uncle's case. What was the procedure followed by you. Did you approach the supreme health council? What all you did? Please guide me. I am very much worried.

You have the same situation as my uncle. He is also an engineer but was declared fit after he got another xray from a private hospital. I am in the same situation also but was referred to Rumaillah.

It's just published on their site on Internet. They have not referred me to any hospital. I really don't know the procedure. So I am going to meet the visa medical doctor in SHC.

How long before they said you were unfit? Did they refer you to Rumaillah hospital?

Your suggestion is correct.. Also get the company to issue a letter stating the same ..

I suffered from pneumonia some 25 years back and feel that the scar shown in the x-ray is what is left behind by pneumonia. I tooknow x-ray from a private hospital here and the doctor there says that scat is very old. 10 years plus and even 20 years. I was thinking to go along with company pro and meet the visa doctor in the supreme health council and try to convince him as I have professional visa. Any feedback will be welcomed.

Scar on lungs could be a dangerous thing. Go to hospital for detailed checkup.

Ajay, I would expect you would need a favorable diagnosis to even approach this one. The company HR should be able to tell you how to proceed.
