Long Term Visa for Mother

Dear Members,

I have received an employment offer and was informed that I can bring immediate family i.e. wife and son along with me as dependent.

When asked if I can bring my mother along with me on long term visa, I was informed that Qatar has changed the rules for age 60+ and can not get the long term visa.

Anybody faced similar scenario? How can I bring the mother along with me in this cae.

What they have told you is correct. I don't think you will be able to get a visa fro your mother due to her age. Possibly, you may be able to get her here on visit visa or visa-on-arrival basis, but you need to check on that.
