If i dun go back to SIte and do some work, I will try to sleep till !2 midday....then off to the Dining room for lunch. Laze a bit in da room after lunch whule waiting for about 4.00pm. Drive down to City Center andby the time Gte there it would be abt 5.00 pm. Do some shopping for chocolate ...hmmmmmmmm luv them.... hang around till abt 6.30pm then I am off to Qatar Bowling Center for my 10 games of Bowling.

When itsa done its abt 9.30pm ...Pay fopr my games then drive my lonely drive back to Ras Laffan. Thats my normal and routine weekend.

Wednesday Bowling??????? Whois comming and where???? will see if I can get away. LOL

doha seems having lots of traffic... but i think roads are better than bahrain.

i enjoyed the shopping malls here too (though only went to city center and lulu hyper). i think qatar has better shopping facilites.

on weekends, i normally spend time on shopping things that i plan/need during the week.

i go out with friends on some dinner/bbq etc.

i watch movies and listen to music.

i go out places which are new to me, regardless of that are famous or not.

about adding buddies here...is tricky as anywhere else on internet.

i will not agree to the suggestion about "true" buddies being very active type of guys/gals... it could be anything. even the most active people on QL can be tricky? and even the "sleepy" type can be very friendly in real life?

is all about knowing someone in person and how much ability you have to read personalities.

driving, beach, hanging with friends,

a lot of outdoor activity to choose from...

explore Qatar and you will end up fulfilled...

beautiful, beach either in fuwairit, or next to sealine (but very crowded and too many cars) or if you're lucky and find someone with a 4x4, inland sea. corniche, forget it, you can go for a walk and that's it.

you can also try the hotel beaches but I'm not sure if you have to be a member - think the InterCon is open for non-members, but they want QR 200 - for me, that's too much for one day...or you can also go into Sealine, which is about 45 minutes drive from Doha, and costs you QR 50 per person plus QR 25 for cars on the weekends and QR 30 per person during the week.

week ends depends- duning, camping (when weather permits), bbq by the beach, partying at friends or our place,hanging out by the pool (if there is nothing else to do), cooking /baking if i am tired/done after the sunbathing and swimming since cooking is very theraputic for me and i love 'feeding'/or watch ppl eat my cooking......lol.

never a dull week end since we got here
