Visit to Bahrain during Eid

Hai Friends,

Iam planning to go to Bahrain during Eid holidays with my friends by road in my vehicle. What are all the formalities involved. Like permit for vehicle, where can i get how much it cost, do i require any additional insurance for vehicle or for self and friends. Visa requirements, iam more than 6 months in qatar. But my friends have only 2~3 months. In case on arrival visa is not applicable for them then how to get it from where. Any specific formalities while crossing saudi border.
