Not all men are polygamous, some men will become polygamous because of their wives, and maybe because some phsycology issues.

You know cat males are polygamous as well as many animals.

But let us answer this question:

If you have a very good wife then why you dump her by hanging with gf friend when she is apsent or not present?

Boston, I believe in this case "conscience" and "brain" serves the same purpose. He is trying to say that men have urges and they have to decide whether or not to act on them.

My argument is that women have precisely the same urges. My question is, why is it more acceptable for men to act on them than for women to act on them?

males being polygamous is found in many animal species as well. most animals which move around in herds have only a few males in the group who protect all animals in the group from other wild animals..

pre-historic paintings and carvings found in many caves depict that men were polygamous before the system of marriage was introduced in the society..

Getting back to the main thread for a moment, why do men assume that they have a higher drive and more needs than women do? Why is it ok for a man to cat around on his wife (because boys will be boys, or because he is "geographically single" or whatever the excuse) but a woman who does the same is a whore or a slut?
