Gay Cross-dressers in Qatar?? POSSIBLE??

Hi there.. Im living in Qatar for 2 years now and I know how strict their culture with regards to homosexuality.

Im not against gays and lesbians.. And we all know that they are really existing in the world.. I just noticed that some of them whos living here Qatar are wearing some girls stuff like blouse, skinny girl jeans, ladies bag, high heels and wearing a heavy make-up too.

I just wanna know the rules and regulation of this country regarding this matter..Are they allowed to walk in the street like that? What are their condition or ground of the authorities here? Could somebody enlighten us here?

No it means dont push the envelope too far and they'll let it slide...most of us speed every now and then and dont necessarily get tickets for it altho it is illegal to drive above the speed limit. But, if ur driving at 180km for a whole week of course u'll get caught.

Similarly, if u wear tight female low cut jeans to go clubbing it might get unnoticed and if caught u'll be given the benefit of the doubt...but if a dude shows up on Thursday night in the middle of souq waqif in a freaking wedding dress with full on hair and make-up, of course u'll get arrested hehehe.

Qatar being a Muslim country has very little tolerance towards homosexuality and the people/things associated with it.

Just because such people exist in this society and are sometimes visible, doesn't mean the govrt condones their acts, in fact those people are walking on very thin ice going out in public while looking like that.

Side note: homosexuality is punishable crime as per Qatari law.

They must get respect in public, unfortunately the peoples rejects them not all, but majority of us don’t like them, personally I don’t do that wrong.

I've only seen one Qatari guy like this in public but apparently a lot of this goes on behind closed doors according to my Qatari friends.
