A game of Ping Pong or Go, anyone?
Hi!
I'm a current undergraduate, studying outside Qatar, who'll be visiting Doha starting June 15.
I'm VERY eager to play against someone in Ping Pong, primarily to improve my skills.
My style is primarily offensive and I'm a right-handed shakeholder grip user. I use a Butterfly Primorac blade with 1.5 mm Sriver rubber on both sides.
I've just started a couple of months ago and I'm trying to get some of the shots down.
In case I've scared anyone, I play for fun, too.
Anybody know a good place where Ping Pong is played, at a high level preferably? I don't mind playing against hack players either. Any weekly meetings? I'd be up for bi-weekly pp sessions, as well.
If anybody is interested, I'd love to play someone in Go. Any 1-10 kyu players out there?
seems we have abt 3 4 guys...lets setup a date and time so we can play...though booking the plae wud have to be taken care of....but other than saturdays and weekends and day shud be fine wid me...
Thanks for the info. Lemme see if Doha College allows outsiders to use the tt tables.
By the way, I'm not a pro, at all. Far from it. Trust me, I'm only a rookie at this, but I want to get better.
If you care to, you're welcome to play. Telljax sounds interested as well.
Hey Telljax, sweet!
From the post above, it looks like Doha College may have a few tt tables lying around. We'll need to see, of course, if they'll allow outsiders to play.
Care for a game?
We can settle the nitty gritty details later.
def love to play man....though we have to find a place to play...
I play for our school when i was in high school. I don't know if I still know how to drive a top spin. By the sound of your post, you must be a pro... Try the Doha College they have pingpong tables there... but you need to find a buddy to play with.
