Discussion about food in Qatar

Fud Ruckers is definitely a box restaurant, but it sources is meats better and its gimmick is good burgers. They are good and better than the others listed, but not great. I certainly would not go out of my way to eat at one in the US.

Hi B. Caspar and Gambini (or is it Garibaldi) is not a box restaurant. They have an excellent cook and everything I've ever tried there (including the burgers) are excellent.

I would have classified Fud Ruckers as a box store as it is a big US chain restaurant. However, I've never eaten there (as I've had poor experiences at other big US chains, Chilis, AppleBees, TGIF, Planet Hollywood etc. etc.) so can't comment on their food.

I fundamentally disagree with this list.

Fud Ruckers is the only one on the list that I would consider having a burger at. The beef is USDA, so you you know where it is sources (the rest get their beef from wherever is cheapest). The fast-food options listed such as BK and McDonalds use fillers in the meat and way too much sugar in the buns.

Ric's Country Kitchen does a decent burger. I'd like to hear from anyone who has found a decent burger that is not at a box restaurant.

Caspar and Gambini (or Garibaldi) - they also have the best french fries.

I don't know whether this is the best but the beef burger at Fraser Suites is a fine burger. Expensive but so very good.

Wendys have an outlet at TV Roundabout in the same line as Star of India since a long time.

Best burgers in Qatar are at the Italian place in Landmark.

I think "Five Guys" needs to open up in Doha... I love their greasy burgers as well :-)

Wendys , well its a new restaraunt , just opened in wakra a few weeks ago , has some decent burgers , but the burgers are in a square shape a little weird I say.

I LOVE the burgers at Rizks' Karak Chai and Papodum Emporium. Besides the good burgers, you also get to hang out with the Britey in his Pink KIA :-)

I didn't know we have a Wendy's in Doha? :-(
