Hello all!
Sorry, that I didn't join the forums until now. I just wanted to settle for the first 4 weeks before broadening my horizons somewhat.
Still waiting on my RP, but will be getting that in days now as opposed to weeks.
Wanting to meet up with a few Expats over here from anywhere really. Be good to meet some of you and go out for a few beers here and there, or whatever else.
Thanks and Regards
Neill
a little prem football, im not the biggest rugby fan :P
boys boys boys - rugby is a mans game.....football is for boys who fall on the floor and cry for a penalty! the rugby boys take their hit, go off if they have blood to be sewn up and then carry on playing!!! plus the rugby club isn't all about the rugby you know!
i hear the sports bar at ramada is good for premiership games - i am out of the country in a couple of days and will only be back at the end of the year, but PM me if you want to meet up....always good to meet new people!
watch out for the ladies of the night at garvey's!
welcome
Good to see another Liverpool fan here. Forget the rugby crowd and their boring game. I dont know which is worse the public school union boys or the Eddy Wareing lookalikes. Note only people who play with odd shape b*lls might be offended.
But seriously though, I have been here for five weeks and really enjoying it. My office is near the Ramada so some of us go there after work on Thursdays or whenever it suits. This afternoon it is probably Garveys due to the hassle of what is open and what is not due to the conference. If you want to PM me I will give you my email for contact.
killjoy1975 - Live Footties are shown on Ramada Sports Bar :)

I have a work colleague taking me to the Rugby Club. Problem is I ain't a egg chaser. I am more of a football fan myself so don't know if I'll fit in that well.
I want to go to the Harp, to have a decent Guinness. Hope the Rugby Club has it on tap also.
Might see you at the RC at some point then??
Regards...
Welcome to Doha - I've been here 6 months now and am enjoying it. Lots of ex-pats at the rugby club - good place to start if you want to meet people....and the Irish Harp at the Sheraton has a huge mix of nationalities - be warned it gets very smoky there on weekends!
Alright peeps,My names Sharif Im a 29 year old Corporate Banker from London, i have just moved to Doha for obvious reasons (ahem) Ive been here 3 weeks and more than anything im really looking to expand my social circle to more than the just the girls and guys from the office.
About me, well im a Gamer but have no PS3 access as i live at The Doha Seef Hotel at present whilst i search for the right property. I am going throuh pro evolution withdrawal symptoms and might have to start hanging out at gaming centres soon because there s only so much time i can spend at the gym or watch fox movies repeats.
Id actually like to get in to sport with people but havent seen much of that going on.
As for partying and going out, would like to do a bit more of that also ... have only been to the Pearl and Palomas at the Intercon so far. Girls and Guys if your interested in making a really good friend look no further and hit me up. [email protected]. Im bored this weekend save me :) !!!!!!!!
I have only arrived 4 weeks ago and wanted to have a feel for the place before I start making friends...
