In which currency would you advise? I heard someone mention offshore accounts. what would be the benefits of that? What i need is a safe place for the money to grow. and that I can transfer to without over-paying. I have accounts in europe and will have in Qatar. Thanks!
If you have to pay tax on the money you got in the Bank, then Offshore Accounts is the thing. I think it would be wise to spread the money in different banks and also save in various currencies. Dollar has been depreciating over the last years and is not a currency to save in. Euro is a good alternative together with maybe British Pounds and Norwegian Kroner(which is the currency that has been the strongest over the last 10 years, due to the Country's vast income from Oil and Gas )
