Whats a reasonable salary for a Project Engineer with 12 years of experience in Oil & gas industry

I have seen a lot of discussions about salary but couldn't find a concrete answer. Could anybody provide me with the best possible answer?

I am in Canada and have been offered almost 40,000 QR all inclusive but it seems little low to me from Canadian perspective. Can any body provide some guidance. Can I find some good accomodation in 7-8000 QR?
