You will need a minimum of 12000 QAR to live with family in Qatar. Accommodation will eat up your salary to an extend of 4000 - 5000 in Doha, 2500 for your grocery and shopping, Child's school fees 800 - 1000 with transport per month, Car loan 1500.

What's left after all these!

Negotiate for more salary if you are qualified and if this is not ur last option.

Hi Vini, I was getting Salary above 12,000 and it ws manageable. But now the company had no business and i had to search a job in another company, where they are paying 9500. It was manageable, before i take loan for car. After the loan, i find it difficult to manage expenses with my family here. The new company has agreed to raise my salary though thanks to Allah....

It will be hard to manage in 8k with family of 3 .. and it will become increasingly difficult as the time passes by due to inflation..

You may find it difficult to maintain a family here in that salary. You may be able to get away with some savings if you desire to live on a single status basis and live in a shared accommodation. An unfurnished 1BHK may cost you around QR 4000 per month.
