Hello folks,

Tried to look through the earlier threads but unable to find any traces of salaries being discussed for SAP Consultants at QP. Please can someone take few mins to put some ballparks here.

The role, am being considered for, is an Analyst role with 8+ years of experience. Also, i should mention that am based out of Canada.

Appreciate your inputs here.

Cheers!

Bullishboy. The banks obviously don't work in the same way as QP.

If you get the chance to visit, take it. I visited for 4 days on my interview with QP. That however was in 1982 when Doha was still pretty much a village.

Good luck

thanks, initially I was told that I was having HR Interview, got a surprise when I was conferenced in with Head of IT and 1 significant other, I was all ready for the HR interview and ended up with the Tech one !, thats Agents for you !!, anyway 2 weeks later I had my HR Interview, Im assuming, right or wrong that I wouldn't of got this far if the Tech side did not go well and they didn't want me, the Agent pretty much told me if you get past tech then job is in the bag, I have to say the HR Interview as mentioned previously was a bit of a joke, anyway time will tell what happens from here, I may well get asked to fly over for a 1 to 1 or an offer on the table, btw my job is with a Bank not an Oily . The process in QP was that HR undertook the initial interview and the technical interview was undertaken by the employing department (frequently by arranging a visit to Qatar). I'm surprised that the process has changed.

I doubt if they will be looking at numbers as salaries are (or certainly were) set for permamnent direct hires by a well trusted method taking many elements into consideration. If that's changed they will probably soon be in trouble again.

I had my HR Interview this morning, lasted about 30 mins on the phone, never had such a non tasking Interview in my life, HR Rep was like a door mouse, asked about my previous roles briefly, then about my previous remuneration and if I was comfortable with the role that I applied for and if I am ok to relocate, I then proceeded to ask a bunch of questions, unfortunately when I asked about the remuneration package they could not give me the figures ???, would this be because they now have to look at the figures I provided and crunch some numbers ?. The Agency that placed me said that if you get to HR Interview after Tech then the job is pretty much in the bag , I'm keeping an open mind because until now it has all been very easy, am I right in assuming that I would not of got to HR stage if they were not happy at tech stage ??

Im a Brit hopefully coming over with my wife and young son in a role at Level 16 so hopefully it should be a pretty good package, time will tell. GLA.

You should get a basic of at least 25K, plus housing allowance of 10K, plus kids school fees in the range of 60K a year..

If you have a Canadian passport, then your pay may be more than the above mentioned figure by at least 25%..

Thanks y'all for replying to this.

@kieron4u - Just to clarify there, would this be the all incl. figures or things such as house allowance (figure the costliest puppy reading through earlier posts here) are separately provided?

I agree, not much on QL about your line of work, but try and search under salaries, data analyst, business in Qatar, wages, budgets, consulting...etc.

Good luck..:)
