Qatar Foundation IT sector salary
Hi all, a friend of mine from Pakistan recently interviewed for a job in Qatar Foundation for their IT department. He got around 10 years experience in the areas of animation, simulation, 3D computer designing etc. He told me the interview went really well and he thinks there is good chance of QF offering the job to him.
He wants to know what salary range should he be expecting for a person in IT field for 10 years experience to see if the offer is really good or just good. As I dont have any experience in his area, can someone please give me an idea of how much salary can he expect in QF (just a guess in the ball-park range)? Is it negotiable? Also, QF interviewer told him that QF also offers accomodation and car, he asked me is it possible to get allowance paid in cash instead of getting accomodation and car. If agreed, he'll come here with a wife and 2 year old boy.
Can people working in QF or closely know of QF salary ranges, please answer ASAP.

@QDL Lover... what made you say that.. ?! I'm hired by Qatar foundation and still waiting for HR confirmation regarding visa's n all.. I think it takes too long..
I am an Indian and do you think they have difficulty to get Indian visa ?

Thanks Zeeshan1983, do you mean 20k plus accommodation? or 20k in which accommodation allowance will be deducted if QF offers their own accommodation? Thx
according to his experience and especially in Animation..it would be + 20k with all the facilities they offered, if he is earning enough in Pakistan if not then he can join on below 20k too that would be totally depend on him...i think he can ask for allowence instead the car and accomodation but that would be upon QF...
Might have serious problems getting a visa due to being a Pakistani. I would ask about that first.
