Also how long does it normally take for QP to obtain your RP I heard they may take up to two months...but in the interview they told me it takes a month..I hear different stories all the time and it is really confusing me.

I heard from someone only certain nationalities require Police Clearance. QP did not ask me to get one. they only want me to go for medical examination.

about teaching from home ... i know some people doing it at home. It is not officially legal ... but no one say anything about it (tutoring).

there are yearly increament for QP staff ... maximum is 7 percents. Distribute depend on the performance.

PS: i just edited my post about car loan ... it is 4 yrs interest free loan up to either 4 or 5 mths salary (pls check again with QP HR).

ur reply will help me a lot ....

They have offered the car loan, but don't mention about the period...I will clarify it. Anyway I will keep ur advice in mind when I buy a car. And ofcourse I will call Maria if I need any help.

From ur reply I think u know much about QP....is there any Annual bonus and yearly increment there?

I have one more qurey......My wife have done Masters in maths....she like teaching, but we don't like to sent our kid to nursery or keep a maid to look after him...Can she take tuitions at home there?

tomkov ... the normal QP procedure they usually putting you in company accommodation for the first 3 months (Al Bayaan compound). Once you get here you can take your time to look around.

11.000 you can get a flat in a decent area ... but if you want to leave in a villa / bungalow, forget about the idea.

you can ring my friend Maria in 5823364, she works as a house agent.

what other expenses do you want to know? It is depend on your life style really. If you go out more of course you spend more. :D

a word of advice from me ... if you do planning to buy a car ... you should get a 4WD ... loads of desert trip in the winter months in Doha.

talking about car ... QP normally give 4 yrs free interest loan (up to 4 mths salary i think) to its staff to buy a car. Have you clarify this with human resources?

education assistant wont take into place till the age of 4 ... so if you plan to send your kid to nursery (wife will need that to keep her sanity if you dont have anybody else in the house to look after the baby:D )you will have to pay out of your own pocket.

Lets say u spend 600 per week on groceries, so thats 2,400QR.

2 Bed room rent 6000~8000QR

Pertrol for car 100 per week, so about 500 per month.

Other stuff, clothes, goods etc say 1500 per month.

Plus about 500QR utilities + phone

That means u would spend around 13000QR per month, and thats living in good standard, u will have an extra of 14000 QR

Cheers
