Please Advice

Hello all..

I have been offered a job as a Software Engineer in Qatar for QR 12,000(This includes basic salary plus other allowances) and accommodation and round trip tickets(Family) per every 6 month. Please let me know if this is a good salary and the average living cost for my family ( 3 - including 11/2 years child )

Thanks a lot for all of yours early replies.

They confirmed me to provide a 2BR apartment and car .

I think offer is good and settle on to accept this.

Thats the key word negotiate... your cost of living will be close to 7000 riyals if you are planning to stay independently or else sharing accomodation will be 4k plus..

try to push for accomodation provided by the employer and if you have 2-3 years experience please ask for 20k

seldom to have such offer to a software engineer, while they will provide the accomodation then go ahead ... it is ok ..

Its a below average salary if housing allowance is included in it. If accomodation is offered to you with 12000 salary , then go ahead, this is an average salary. Ppl are paying QR5000 and above for 2 bedrooms apartment

I guess is good enough, some of my engineers received 8000riyals only in local hire.
