Onsite interview with QP

i have been invited for onsite interview with QP for grad 16 job with basic salary of QR22000 - QR27000 along with other allowances. I'll be moving from US if accepted. Is it a sufficient/fix salary range or it can be further negotiated. Can some one share the experiences with onsite interview i.e is it just a formality or is it detailed job interview. Any comment will be appreciated.

Pretty fixed - bear in mind that the salary bandings are fixed and are also reflective of what people earn who are already QP employees. Cannot have someone on the same grade of job with the same level of experience earning completely different salary - maybe able to negotiage about 10% above salary banding but not much more.

AND benefits are completely set and non negotiable

all companies nowadays apply salary banding, which overlaps where one grade's lowest salary will certainly be lower than the highest salary of the grade below, and so on. I've not worked in QP, so I cannot comment whether the band you said is true or not. However, if you were granted the highest level salary for the grade, just beware that next year you would not get an "actual" salary increment unless you move up a grade (which can be very, very difficult to accomplish). you would be getting somekind of compensation in lieu, calculated annually based on what you would have received, but it is still worse than getting the actual increment.

As for the onsite interview, I can't help you much. Hopefully others, more experienced ones, would share with you.

Good luck.
