Dears, I know that its is an old Post ,but hope if any of you guys is aware of the current residential compounds of Rasgas, as I heard el Khor is full.

Also what are the ranges of each level i.e, Managers from grade X to y ,Directors from A to B, juniors ,seniors ,super visors range ,etc...

I seen a standard pay packet today of a western man we work with here in one of the Q companys. he is on basic over 15,000 = 15,00 more in extras. we are on 5,000 same work,,,, please explain????

In a nutshell..........no they don't.

Just would like to know if those government-owned companies like QP, Qtel, HMC, etc...do they have the same salary brackets for Grade Levels?

Can we expect that a Grade 5 level in QP has the same salary and benefits of a Grade 5 level to that of employees in Qtel or HMC and other govt-owned companies?

only basic salary. Accomodation will pay about 13000-15000 QAR for family and about 7000-8000 for Single. So the managemnt level starts from Grade 5, with higher rank coming with smaller grade number, say 3,4?

Grade 4 & 5 are for senior engineers... meaning u are in management level. 20K-22K, is it include acommodation or only basic?

Goodevening sir. My husband want to try his luck in applying in RAS GAS. He is currently employed in a prefabrication & contracting company. but he not properly compensated & the company is not stable, their salary are always delayed. I search online and I found your website. He is a Machinist. He knows drilling machines, lathe machines & programming. He also maintain the machines and tools. And his current job now is fabricating aluminum sheets for the house & accomodation frames and now he is assigned in the assembly as supervisor. Do you think he is qualified in working in Ras Gas. I have been working for Ras Gas for the past 8 years. Started at the lowest grade ( 12 ) IAS operator Trainee. And moved up to my current Grade ( 6 ) analyst.

I am local so the salary might be a bit different. Someone asked if there is a difference between grade 4 and 5 in terms of housing..etc. Well, there is NO differentce between the two grades what so ever.

Basic salary will usually differ from one person to another. A british guy might get more $ than a guy from east asian countires. Plus the allowence differs as well. It all depends on where your from. For any futher question, i'll be happy to answer. But for the guy who got an offer of 16,000 basic per month i think thats a good deal , depending on where your from

I had been interviewed by a Ras Gas employee, commercial terms were agreed with M/s Technip Middle East who have a long term service agreement with Ras Gas management but interestingly M/s Orion Engineering of UK who have local office in Doha have been asked by the Technip to have Employment Agreement with me besides making all sorts of arrangement regarding my mobilization. The offer is reasonably good plus family furnished accomodation in Doha and transportation. I am looking forward any one of you who could guide me in this regard.

The salary is a good one. if everything (school, accommodation, medical) is provided, you can save at least QR10k per month.

Food will only cost you QR4k per month..

My hubby has been offered the same amount of salary as yourside in grade 4 as a specialist. I guess they are all about the same. InsyaAllah me and my hubby are going to accept it and maybe going ther after eid.

there's no harm in negotiating, cos u have got nothing to loose. just negotiate, if all not well than u can always accept the previous offer.

trans allowance, I' am married and my wife is 4months pregnant..idnt

know if this offer is good and  some of the benifits that rasgas

actually I'm also waiting for their offer letter. I have to see their offer first. When did you went to the interview? Do they give you annual bonus?

Still waiting for them to send me the documents on the offer and have not started the negotiation. I actually meant transportation allowance and bonus at the end of the year.

I assume the EOS is End Of Service benefit (ESB). That is fixed (in the QP Group) and a legal requirement for all direct hire staff on indefinite contracts.

u have a different choice of school . you can manage with the education. it is not so expensive

If you are talking about for groceries, petrol and a few other things then yes, if you have lots of bad habits (like shopping for junk) then I would put more in the monthly purse for spending.

Is it true that Rasgas will only pay for standard children education and I will pay the differences ?? As I stay in Doha, I was told I need to find my own school for the kids. I believe different schools will have different tuition fees.

Is living cost of QAR4000/month sufficient ??

If the accomodation is provided in Doha then all utilities except phone, satellite and internet are provided. You are a lucky person!!! The ride to Ras Laffan is about an hour. I drive it 6 days per week it is piece of cake...
