dweller as I said it's depend on the nationality and the offered position. I also know that salaries in the gas & oil industries are one of the highest. Take into account the inflation and the devaluation of the QR (pegged still to the $).

I think that's an unrealistic increase to ask for.

Everything depend on your nationality and the offered position. With Rasgas I guess you may fight for 20K or above.

Is this more then you would make in your home country? This is a pretty good salary/benefit package. The fact that housing, tuition and medical is covered is a big plus. Housing is your biggest expense in Doha. The fact that you are getting a transporation allowance on top is also very good.

The quesiton is would you be happy with this?

Good luck

the company is Rasgas. Is there a different between those 2 salary wise?

Conversion is about 1 to 1.

I have a question...what country are you coming from and is the company QP or RASGAS? It sounds okay but I think it depends on your currency conversion.
