I'm working in QP as a Senior Staff, if I can give you a piece of advice......looking at the offer,
I don't think you can survive here. Of course if you were to convert the QR amount to Rupiah you can see huge sum of money especially comparing the amount back to what you earn in Indonesia.
I know for instance in Jakarta for QR 500 (Rupiah 1,000,000) per month you can get to stay in a very nice house but over here for QR 5000 hardly you can find a decent "flat".
Unless you come here as a Senior Staff, I don't encourage people to join as ELS. Perhaps you'd be able to save more working in Indonesia than working here....this is my frank opinion (I'm from Malaysia by the way).
I think your offer is good for the position and the grade mentioned...QP is divided into two levels of employees (Dweller is an expert on the subject)..and I think you got the highest ELS grade...
You can't negotiate now...Once you have accepted the offer..they proceed with Visa and other stuff...Attempts to open up discussions on salary now will only harm your service record...
well, the offer was given for staff level position grade 9
the position is technical asst. for reservoir and field development
They'll provide full fees children educational assistance for ES degree and up to 75% in secondary school level. Medical services and life+accident inssurance are also covered by QP.
Any way, Should I do a final negotiation with QP with entry visa already on my hand ?
Thank you to help me in performing a final decision.
If they provide accomodation instead of allowance it would have been much better offer...I suppose they do this for married employees like we have at HMC
I don't know what the cost of education is at an Indonesian school but it's unlikely to be QR4,000 to QR5,000 a term. QP will pay school fees for staff on married status but only for the school appropriate to your nationality (i.e. if there is an Indonesian school they will pay a large part of it))
School fees tend to reflect the ability of the appropriate nationality to pay.
I agree that the salary is very low considering the high cost of living and accommodation.

Do you have kids and did they get schooling easily?

4300QR, can hardly get a 2 room flat
800QR, try to buy a used toyota, it might by enough for the monthly maintenance.
7000QR, for the living expenses, and education + some others, that give you nothing to save for the rainny days.
The offer is way too low, I agree with E46. Unless your spouse finds a job that pays over 7K you won't be able to make ends meet.

Your offer is too low on all fronts. I don't know what the position you're offered this package for.
Basic salary should be in excess of 10000 min. Housing allowance for family accommodation should be 7000 min. and transport 1500 min.
Will they pay for education? If not then you're looking at a minimum of 4000-5000 per term.
Also consider medical insurance/expenses.
