I need Legal Advice Regarding Employment Matters
A close friend of mine has received a Memo from his Company telling him that his salary will be lowered or slashed due to present economic crisis. He has 2 years Employment Contract and he already finished the 1 year.
My question is
1. "Is it legal for the Company to lower his salary granting that the Contract is still binding?"
2. What is the best way or move in order to resolve this issue?
this is an indirect way to tell him good bye, let him satrt looking for a job and ask his company for NOC.
better report to labor ministry
Make sure that his contract is attested by labor department.. if so .. go to labor department and complain about them ..
if not .. u need a lawyer
Basically salary cannot reduced as per labor laws unless if there's revised with contract after 1 year or else mutual agreement which is not satisfied on his perpormance or due other aspect.
