Hello,

I have a job offer of 22K QR per month. Company is not providing housing or car. They are providing medical insurance and air ticket for spouse and 2 kids. My family includes my spouse and 2 kids who will start school now. Could you please tell me given the above mentioned amount how much will I be able to save after paying i.e. house rent(furnished), water, electricity, telephone, internet utilities, second hand car, school fee, housemaid, food etc?

Thanks

Housing and schooling will take over 50% of your salary.

I am wondering hows the scenario of getting admission in indian schools now a days for Kindergarten? I found on QL that all schools have long waiting lists.

Maybe 30% - 40 % with kids in Indian school. Your package sounds like an audit and consultancy firm

It depends on your life style and where you are from. If you are from the MENA, ISC or SEA , it is a pretty decent salary to live on.

People live on a quarter of what you are offered with families in Doha. Search in QL and you will get an idea of Costs based on your lifestyle.

All depends on how you want to live your life.

Accepting the offer is based on your qualifications, experience and current pay and your perception of future growth in the current organization.

Think over and decide.
