How much salary for a particular Grade?

I was told, I am on Grade 6. So what is my salary for this Grade? On What basis grading is done and can some one help me in understanding the Grading system and salary and allowances company give for each grade?
it depends on the schools..i am teaching grade one and i take 7 plus...so its according to schools
There is no Salary Standard here. It may differ from one company to another. This all depends on the salary offered to you as Grade 6. I agree with rej2k7. Frankly speaking Grade 6 salary rate is a small amount to stay in a high standard kind of living here.
It may be wrong some times... but its near this;
Once i saw the details somewhere in the website;
grade 7 ... i remember its 3200-3500
Grade 6
3.5 - 3.8 ... its near by this amount;
That basically depends on each individual company, as far as I know, there's no specific job grades or salary levels at the country level. Check with the company HR "if they have one", or consult your colleauges.
