Living costs in Doha are rising steeply. Since Accommodation is not provided you will have to shell out anywhere between 4 to 5 k for a 1bhk. 5 to 7 k for 2bhk in case u have kids. Grocery and others u can manage in around 1.5 to 2 for a couple including occasional eating out. Transport is a bit expensive as taxi's charge a minimum of 10 QR per trip. After 8 years of experience i would say pay is less and try to negotiate if possible.

Annual Leave should be around 25 to 30 calender days and gratuity would be approx of 3/4th of 1 month basic salary (applicable only after completion of 1 year )
