I feel this is really unfair

I feel this is really unfair since government peoples they are getting 10 days while private sectors are getting only 3 days. at least it must be changed to 5 days. because they are also human beings. all of them starting to fast same time and leaving it same time. i know some peoples are working more than 6 hours. since government peoples are working only 5 hours. they already have more facilities than private sectors it's ok, since it government it has to be. but during ramadan they are working 6 to 7 hours during fasting and only 3 days leave. is this really fair??

i don't want to say to cut down their holidays or salaries and even their comfort. i am not that much selfish. but i do accept that your last words "do or die" you are fired.

i think you misunderstood me. i am not talking about government job and also whatever they got or getting they really deserve it. i do not have problem or complain about that. that's true you really don't understand my point.

Its the same in most countries.. The civil servants will argue that they are usually paid less than private companies

It is the private companies policies (Read your contract, and the Labor Law), the government has nothing to do with this.

Salaries are generally lower in the government sector compared to some of the private sector companies. Would you accept the pay cut for a longer Eid?

Government sector really get 4 to 5 working days off and the weekend either sides are off days anyway so dont compare them. So technically Private sector get 3 and Government sector gets 4 or 5 working days off.

I wonder if this is a government issue. I think it's more to do with the private company's policy. I believe companies have the choice to either go for the full holiday or stick with the minimum.

A good point, shall be forwarded to the government for their review and may be they will cut down their holidays to 3days like private sector people; after all they enjoy the comfort of safe job and less timing.

Also no hassles of salaries and handling financial responsibilities (companies in financial stress, no/less business, issue of receivables, cash flow) like the ones in private sector where it applies 'do or die' or you are fired

I don't understand your point, why are you comparing the government to your job? You could always get a job with the government back in your own country if that would make you happy.

I know people will get tired at home & can't live without work for so many days ..

You'll see them coming to their work place alongside you after 3 days ..
