What happens if someone brings illegal stuff to Qatar, through the customs? The item would be confiscated. Will he be jailed or fined for importing the material into Qatar. Consider the material to be a something against the Islamic laws.

Anyone with previous experiences??

if it is pork, alcohol or pron, you will be lucky if they just take it off you, express their disgust and give you a warning. They could choose to deport you too so why take the risk? If it is drugs...saddle up for a few years behind bars...and dont bend over...

What exactly are you talking about. I am sure everyone would just love to know? I am guessing it is alcohol or porn? You wouldnt be silly enough to ask about drugs, and who would bother attempting to smuggle in pork??

Sorry but he was not specific about what kind of illegal stuff he is trying to bring, so no one can give specific answer.

Second you said it yourself, illegal stuff so you should be ready to whatever punishment or actions taken by authorities against you ...

Dude, you know already it's illegal why try to bring it in? definitely they will penalize/punish you for doing so (if caught) eventhough not, it's not a good thing to bring that is not legal specially if it's against the rule of the land.

Depends on what it is. A friend had a bottle of whiskey in his bag and it was taken off him at the final bag scan before exiting the airport. The guard was perfectly nice about it and told him where he could collect it from when he left. A week later the whiskey was where he said it would be and my friend took it home with him.

If it is just pork, they will just throw it... if it is alcohol, they will confiscate it... if it is drugs, you will be send to jail maybe for lifetime... if it is sex on the beach 6 years imprisonment or less you if you marry the person. lol...
