tinted cars

I got a question for all of u, i dont know if i should put it here or not but im just curious..

I used to hate being stuck in traffic back home, 10 mins would seem like forever to me but here I enjoy it coz i get to see a lot of luxurious cars which i see rarely in our country. I would take a peek of whos driving it, who s/he's driving it with, all that kinds of stuff.

As I have observed, theres not a lof of tinted cars around. Well maybe i saw only at least 3 cars thats been pimped.

Thinking about Qatari culture, of how conservative they are, malicious(somewhat--no offense) and most of all considering the climate, isnt it better for the owners to have thier rides tinted? or is it also haram to do so.

Ive been meaning to ask the locals but it always slipped my mind, now im askin u guys since i remembered it :)
Is it forbidden to hav the front windows of ur cars be tinted?

Just curious.

not allowed in Canada because Police Officers can't see what is going on in the car if they need to approach it.

for safety reason is the main reason why tinting is not allowed. . that is what i heard from traffic division.

i would like to add my own observation. it is also another way of discouraging "riders to ride on each other" in a wrong place and in a wrong time. we can safely say it is really for safety, in a another meaning of safety.

Front and back windscreen, driver and passenger windows:

ZERO percent.

Back passenger windows and any side boot windows: up to 50% (makes it impossible to see inside)

When you tint the windows with legal limits AND get an invoice with tinting percentages, go to the police station and they will issue you with a permit. You will need that document when insurance and registration are up for renewal.

Hope this helps :)

I tinted my car's front windows with 30% for whole year , no one stopped me :)

but its depending on the traffic man if he catch you ( if you have been catched)

mine have,,, but in sides,,, I ask for d 1 in front, but they said I should have a Police approval 1st....

We were given: Two hands to hold. To legs to walk. Two eyes to see. Two ears to listen. But why only one heart? Because the other was given to someone else. For us to find.

As per rules, you are permitted to use tinted glass for rear door windows only... But I have seen a black Land Cruiser with all four sides tinted!
