Hi,
These questions might sound cliche or dumb.. somewhat.
I will be relocating to Doha soon. Are knee length skirts acceptable there? Wouldn't want to pack those if it is not.
Appreciate your kind responce.

Knee length skirts are totally safe to wear here, so pls dont hesitate to pack whatever you feel like bringing. Just make sure its something you feel comfortable in.

Totally Agree with Mr.Hassan Shaikh

Qatari people are too decent and respectable

also the society here is an Islamic one

most of the ladies are veiled and cover their faces

CAN YOU PLEASE TELL ME

WHY ?????

why you uncover your legs?

Don't pack them. In Qatar, the more you cover, the more comfortable and safe you shall be. Why invite trouble unnecessarily?

Hate to split hairs but there's knee length and then there's knee length! Take a good honest look at your skirts, if they are above the knee I'd say no. If they hit the knee or below it should be OK.

Simple rule is- cover the shoulders, cover the knees.

This topic has been discussed many times here on QL. If you do a search, you will probably find some helpful advice.

It's acceptable & not acceptable

if you read MARHABA it says this is not acceptable

But if you are here that's something else

just don't pack them

Because you can buy them here

How it's not acceptable & it's sold everywhere

for me it's not acceptable at all

but who I am
