greentea, there are HTML codes, which are used for the web sites design..

use letter U for underline, use letter I for Italic, use letter B for bold, just like in Word format. Put any of this letters in brackets ..., then type the text. Put < -back slash- letter - > after text is finished.

I find it quite ignorant actually, writing the whole post in caps AND knowing that it is seen to be rude!

In the business environment, if someone e-mails a letter using all caps, it is construed as yelling. Can be offensive to some. I'm sure some would find it offensive in a social environment like Qatarliving.

I must admit you get attention when writing with Caps lock On, but the attention is negative and it looks Childish.

To convey your messsage in a less "Childish" manner, you may use effects like: *bold*, /italics/, and _underline_ and I guarantee you that you will get through to more people.
