Indian expatriates are among the top investors in Dubai’s property market, which is expected to grow 10-12 per cent this year, company officials and analysts say.

“Expatriates, mainly from India are leading the growth. Indians are among the top five investors in Dubai’s property market,” Ziad El Chaar, managing director of Dubai-based Damac Properties, told IANS here.

He said Indian expatriates, as well as residents, have booked a large number of properties in Damac projects. “Indians are among the top five investors in Damac as well as in other projects,” he said.

Chaar said Indian investors were buying properties in Dubai because of tax benefits, attractive prices and geographical proximity. Dubai’s largest real estate developer, Emaar, recently claimed that its luxury project — The Address The BLVD — located in the downtown area, was sold out within 24 hours. —

Why I don't end up hitting a wrong key or many others for the matter and that too continuously even after being pointed out. So you created another jewel of the typo "spoelling". I know it is hard to admit mistakes specially when pointed out by an Indian. But what to do, life is like that. BTW ever heard of "proof reading" specially when it has been pointed out. And I am sure by the kind of time you spend on QL you, for sure, aren't short of time so as not to do that unless you are *****$%$# (fill it up yourself...my education and upbringing doesn't allow me to walk down that lane)?? Get over slangs and concentrate more on your typos else the name calling that you resort to by using such words... "words come from your duff instead of your brain… and into your mouth at once".... stare right back at you.

An incorrect spelling would be if you don't know the correct (spoelling).... like writing (Schedual) instead of (Schedule)....

Whereas a typo is generally an accident...such as you hit the wrong key by mistake like I did in my first sentance

typo - Cambridge Dictionary Online :

A mistake in a text made when it was typed or printed.

Got that gobble p*nis?

For sure, I am atleast smarter than you cos I wouldn't write "smartest Ql"...it makes no sense at all. With my limited and not so good grasp on english I guess it should either be "smartest on QL" or "smartest Qler" .

Learn to write proper english before attempting to use slangs.

I have been reading a lot of topics about Indians.. How rich they are, how poor they are, bla bla bla.. Well, being on a public forum, I think I have the right to write what I think of all that. No need to take my words in any personal manner. I am sure this does not apply to all.

Indians are a very unique race. Their people created the most awkward religion theology and doctrines on earth. they actually worship penis in temples and called it Lord Krishna penis. They even worship monkeys, cows, rats, elephants and goblins. Their minister drank cow urine in an Indian TV show and was proud of it. Their supermarket sells cow [Mod Removed]s in tablet form and sell it as holy food. They swim in the polluted Ganges River full of urine and [Mod Removed]s. Their holy man do not take bath during rituals except bathing in the holy Ganges sewer. And they burn their widows in Sati practice as holy ceremony. they also killed unarmed Christians in India just because they were preaching against the caste system. 1.2 billion population that only produce 1 silver and 4 bronze medals is considered a big joke. The average I.Q. of the Indian race is 82 which is very low compared to any other race.

All that said, Indians in the Gulf are sneaky and always try to find a way to do things in an illegal fashion. They make illegal alcohol and sell it, they get hired to do a job but they work illegally in something else. They do not know how to drive and sometimes put their life and other lives at risk. They stink any place they go to and they are not professional at anything they do. Not presentable at all and are always up to no good.

They also come to other countries and never leave after. They would rather rot in jail than go back home. No self respect or dignity or honor.

Having said all that, I personally am not saying all Indians are like this. obviously, there are some that are of class and do not deserve to be classified as such. Usually North Indians are of a better class than south Indians.

"Judging by the amount of expatriates living in the Gulf - India must be nearly empty now"... Really!!! This must be the statement of the year I guess, cos non can beat it anytime.

And yeah, agree with MN...when you mention India or Indians in a positive way it is job of small minds. But when you talk of how poor they are, laugh at them that they aren't allowed entry in public places in Qatar on specific days or how they smell or how they live and eagerly post photos of some random slums of India painting entire India and Indians living in similar conditions, it is a discussion of the greatest minds....ROFL.

expats,,, :)

All I can say is that they are all the same, hardworking people...

Wherever they came from, it doesn't matter, what matters are their humility and effort about pursuing their career and making an honest way of living to provide for their family. God sees everything :)

Well probably among the top investors because they are the majority of immigrants to the Gulf. The largest export from India are it's citizens. Judging by the amount of expats living in the Gulf - India must be nearly empty now. lol

India is a very hard working nation. Those people seem to be the factors of success in any organization. Simply because they show a willing commitment to what they do. We all must be respectful.
