Warren Buffet advice to young people : "Stay away from credit cards and invest in yourself and
Remember:

A. Money doesn't create man but it is the man who created money.
B. Live your life as simple as you are.
C. Don't do what others say, just listen to them, but do what makes you feel good.
D. Don't go on brand name; just wear those things in which you feel comfortable.
E. Don't waste your money on unnecessary things; just spend on things that you really need.
F. After all it's your life, then why give others the chance to rule your life."

Good to know that Saggs...:)

I regret not becoming a lawyer... my brother didn’t want to send me to Law college as it was the notorious college in the city...now I can understand his concern… but then it was hard to go with his decision..

As a Kid I used to visualize myself in a judge's chair:)

I can take a law degree even now...but I cant become a successful lawyer or a judge now..:(

dunno,gurl....but so far i have made my own choices.though i have taken them and their interests into consideration before i did anything with my life.my education & career choices were all entirely done by me coz my parents didn't want me blaming them later on in life coz they imposed something on me....that was what my Pa was subjected to in his days.he never complained though.

my folks have put heavy restrictions on the way we were brought up coz of the excessively orthodox and conservative family set-up that we were born into.and given my nature,if they'd let me be the way i wanted to be....i'd have messed up my life beyond recognition!so though it was a bit difficult accepting their rules in the beginning,i'm glad it's made me into what i am today :-)

touchwood....

Saggs I agree to that, but I know many children who could not accomplish their dream because their parents didn’t want them to do what they want..if they were allowed to do what they want ...maybe they would have achieved more in life...

I feel the same about you....that you are not someone who should be sitting where you are sitting now...given an opportunity you would have excelled in some other field...dont get me wrong...I not saying that you are not successful now…

nope....doesn't work that way in the culture we're raised in.we're bound by an invisible bond to obey our parents forever.they're considered above or at par with God.the consideration goes in this order:Mother>Father>Teacher>God in that order....

so...
