First you ask with your embassy. As far as i know most of the companies are afraid if the employee goes to labour department or labour court. you have to be very confirmed with proof then you can go ahead.

But i will tell you what will happen if you go to labor court. suppose you prove every thing about your company labor court will get you all accumulated money related to your gratuity and allowances but you will not get release and finally your visa will be cancelled and until 2 years you will not be able to come here in Qatar.

I would like to ask you guys is this justice or can it change the system here?

Best of luck.

First of all I would talk with the sponsor and ask why is there a hold up in your documents, where are you living and how are you living, are you receiving salary or not??

You english is not very good so there may be a problemn withthe communication.

You can't change sponsor within one year, and if you are working as a labourer it may be much more difficult, fron the information you gave it is very difficult to judge the situation.

You are asking the same question that hundred of years back the slaves used to ask their masters.

There is no escape from slavery, atleast in this part of the world

As per Qatar labor law, its up to company to give you release to transfer sponsorship or NOC. If the Employer want they can terminate you and you will not be able to work in Qatar for at least 2 years.

But if you manage to get No Objection Letter than you can work in Qatar with different visa.

About Gratuity, you are entitled for 21 days basic salary as per Qatar labor law. I suggest you to visit your embassy and complain and get your entitlements.
