If you think this is not an organized official strategy, then watch this:

but in my opinion they should not sneak, they should do it in this format which is acceptable by both religions:

truth_forever...you studied in Citadel College...hmmm...No one here WOULD BELIEVE that you even finished a day there with the way you speak/write. Or maybe you are one of those Special Students who are deaf and mute and managed to learn to write english, that's why you bragged about studying/living there? You will be a disgrace to them, if someone would read your post from their side. Learn to speak/write proper english first (that includes grammar, spellling, et. al) before you start bragging that you've studied there...take note, you studied there, but learnt nothing, i suppose.

It's not because things are difficult that we don't dare, it's because we don't dare that makes things difficult!

and studied at the Citadel since your English is not up to that of a native speaker. There is no way you would have been accepted into their rigorous academic program writing like this.

Why not just be honest and present the video as who you really are? Lying affects your credibility and detracts from the point you are trying to make.

Yes the excerpt is true.. But it was an order to Jesus and his then disciples to go out to a wider world and preach..

These are soldiers on a mission of a different type.. their brief should not include preaching or conversion..

Darly, this is why...

Mark 16:15 to 16

15 "And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature".

16 "He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned".

christians do not forced everyone to be a christian. if you dont want to listen, then dont.

Chaplains stationed Bagram were filmed with bibles printed in the country's main Pashto and Dari languages for distribution to locals..

So, the question is - Should we be acting as preachers when fighting in their land ? I don't think so ..

These reports have been doing the rounds since late last year.. Recently, theer were stories that some soldiers had been distributing bibles in the local language to afghanis.

I believe that there is some basis for this, since senior members of the US armed forces have commented on them.

However, there are two aspects here..

Firstly, the majority of the US armed forces is Christian , so it is right that they have gospel sessions or the like.

Secondly, whilst the issue has been highlighted. The "perpertrators" are a very small minority..

First of all Truth, I didn't just study in the US, but was born there and have lived a good part of my life there. I happen to be from NY, not SC. People from NY usually end up being a little less accepting of such garbage.

OK, so I was not saying that it's not happening, and that it's not illegal. I think I did state that the US military will do anything to brainwash these kids into becoming soldiers. My argument is that by saying it's a "Crusade" by the United States of America when it's 10% of a military base in SC is a bit much and by a TV program that I would not consider news is just spreading propaganda and hatred. We finally just get rid of Bush and there is a bit of hope on the horizon yet you have people like Truth that just want to keep it up.

I am too from US from South Carolina ... Studied in Citadel college, I am surprised to know that you are an American and dont agree on the real facts on this Earth

jhort, it's been on Al Jazeera for the past couple of weeks. Members of the military have been actively trying to convert the local population in Iraq and Afghanistan. There has been footage of ine group discussing their strategies. Even if it is only 10%, it is illegal and should be stopped.

Being born in the US doesn't mean you understand what is going on, most of your countrymen seem to have no idea

If you believe this kind of weird video by who? Fault Line? Sorry, but that's not one I've heard of. Not CNN or BBC or Al Jazeera. What the guy showed was a Sunday church service at a military base. The base has 40 thousand soldiers and they said that the service had 4 thousand of those soldiers so that's 10 percent of the base.

Of course the military will use any angle to get these people to think that what they are doing is righteous and evangelists are just as extreme as the militants here in the Middle East, brain washing young peoples minds. It's not the thought of most Americans only 10 percent of a military base in the "Bible Belt" of South Carolina.

Fault Line is not a reputable news program and seems to me by the imagery and story line that they are trying too hard to create a story here. As you may know, in the US TV shows are a business and need to draw people to watch them inorder to sell adds and make money. What this creates is more entertainment then news. Don't believe everything you hear or read and please don't jump to conclusions and spread nonsense otherwise you are just as bad as those people from Fault Line, spreading UNTRUTHS and exaggerations. I suggest you go back and watch it again with a more skeptical view. Most of what comes out of US TV is BS
