it may be system errror or any other fine which happend earlier or later before this issue. Of course you need to go with a Arabic speaking person with you to solve this problem and show your bank statement. if you can give me the plate number I will check the date and time or visit www.moi.gov.qa and click English then click traffic voilation, enter the car plate number you will get full details with wrong description in English??!!!!

If you are Urdu or Hindi speaking, i advice you to come at Madina Khalifa-north police department. You will find some Pakistanis staff. If not, other staff is also great.

well... you're correct, most of them, they really dont know how to speak English.. it should be implement that thing especially if you are in Govt Employee & Police staffs 'coz some people here in Qatar know how to speak the International Language...

I think its better if your husband approach them with someone who can speak good arabic!! he should be smart enuf to handle those creatures...

or else they will start jumping on them..... we can't even fire back...

All the best

If language is a barrier, accompany with someone who can communicate in local language to sort out things. But ensure that you have all the records as objective evidence to support your statements.

Your husband didn't pay for a lifetime of fines with that 500 QR. First atleast check on MOI website if there is another fine after that one..

If it is for the same fine then don't you have a receipt?

or check the violation from www.moi.gov.qa, take print out, attach the paid reciept and directly go to manager in traffic dept, dont talk with staff in the counter, direct approach to manager and explain him....
