Absolutely positively has to be Vodka and Red Bull. Sometimes an ice ice ice ice cold beer( when watching football), how very British.

Non alcoholic drinks are always ice ice ice ice cold ( see the comman denominator here) water , milk, or Diet coke.

There now, that was easy wasnt it!!!![img_assist|nid=17864|title=Chicks dig Guys with skills|desc=|link=none|align=left|width=440|height=440]

Diamondgirl's recipe for home-made mint lemonade...

5 cups water

2 1/2 cups white sugar

2 teaspoons lemon zest

2 1/2 cups lemon juice

handful of mint leaves

make the sugar syrup which you should chill before using:

heat water and sugar, stirring until sugar is dissolved

add lemon zest and lemon peel

chill in refrigerator

to make the lemonade mix the sugar syrup with sparkling mineral water ( I like Pellegrino best) to taste in a big jug. Start with equal quantities of both but you may want to add more sparkling mineral water according to your taste. Lighly bash some mint leaves and add to the jug.

Fill tall glasses with crushed ice and thin slices of lemon. Pour the mixture over the crushed ice and enjoy!!!

I currently have an absolute CRAZE for an Australian ginger beer I found in one of the supermarkets. It's a reduced sugar version, but absolutely delish!

Took me a while to notice the label on the bottle calls it ginger 'bev' - Nice one ;o)

Also, if I had a liquidiser, I would make crushed watermelon with ice - scrummy AND refreshing.

Room temperature water with a slice of lemon or lime, is my favourite, or a mix of room temperature water and cold water. Best for the body too if you are hot.
