Kittyet22... actually July and August are good months to visit Malaysia... unless you wish to visit Langkawi Island in which case December would be the best month.

Eventhough I come from Indonesia, i never been to Komodo Island ... Hopefully can go there summer next year ... Inshaallah ...

Thanks Novi... yup, those monitor lizards... you get a lot of them in Kedah too. Harmless creatures and certainly NOT to be confused with the Komodo dragons of Indonesia!

Tioman Island is quite lovely too. We also stayed at the Berjaya Hotel. Kota Kinabalu (and from there to Sipadan Islands bordering the Philippines)is a nice place too. Both Tioman and Sipadan are good locations for scuba diving.

Tioman is great Alexa ... we spent 5 days there. In Berjaya Hotel. You ca see monitor lizzard roaming around outside your chalet. And beer for 2 ringgit a can.

It's a lovely place yes. I remember a QL member was planning his/her honeymoon location a couple of months ago and there were so many QL members (and not only just me) who were suggesting Langkawi Island as the honeymoon destination.

Ever been to Langkawi Island? Well, it's in Kedah.
