i agree Dg, but i usually hear the opposite, that women who choose to wear abayas are oppressed? Which is total crap, oppression isnt about what you wear, regardless of what you choose to wear...
Unfortunately many of the women who do not wish to wear abaya or chador in Iran are oppressed into doing so (not only Iran). That is wrong. Freedom to dress the way you want and to be able to choose what you want to wear is how it should be IMHO.
You obviously don't know that this is a typical day for us abaya wearers. We get up, load our machine guns, abseil down the side of our house, go around the block shooting down or beheading by the sword those who annoy us. Then off we go for a manicure to repair the nails we chipped.
