smoker's advice please please please

i tried some yoga & some others (light music, painting, bla bla bla) to have a relive from tensions and keep my mind calm. but non of those worked. my BP is goes up for each and everything happening around me. finally i met another yoga trainer through internet for solution and his advised me to have cigar whenever i am feeling oooopps/yeah/ooouch he also told me i should have deep inhale of cigars and should 'nt talk to anyone while smoking.. it was strange and weird.to me. can any smokers in QL advise me in this regard pls.

(PS : i tried to smoke but i had dry cough and a heavy bang)

When you feel stress you just have to take a cigarette and i think you will feel better even though it is very harmful but we should take one lol

Hi there,

I have never heard such rubbish, if your yoga advisor had any medical qualification... which they obviously don't... well then they should be struck off. It is the worst advise I have heard to date. I am a nurse working in Occupational Health and you should see your Doc about potential anxiety symptoms. One of the best cures for this (although it does not suit all) is cognitive behavioral therapy CBT. It is simple, safe with quick effective results. You would need to find a GOOD, QUALIFIED therapist. It is essential that the treatment is given by a competent person for optium results. I have seen amazing changes in patients very quickly.

Dear OP,

BP is a very complex issue and can come upon a man during various stages and the causes of this can be very complex...a nagging wife, job, kids, friends, landlord or idiot drivers on the roads.

To relieve yourself and have a relaxed mind smoking does help but it should be accompanied with a shot of alcoholic beverage. These two when taken together can cause immediate relaxing effects on the mind.

Cigars are meant for special occasions like when babies are born, you lose your virginity or for ladies like Monica Lewinsky...but lets not get into that since this is a family site.

I'd suggest you start with 3 ciggies a day after food and then gradually move on to one pack. Life is for living, dont take your body parts to the grave unused...but abused!

If you have family, talk / call them, learn cooking , go for a walk, drink water more often, start reading a holy book of your choice, learn about other countries / cultures / travel-visit to a new place.....a lot of things to win a battle you are facing,

try to leave yoga for 3 months to see good results.....

try meditating.

i sometimes have the same problem, but meditation helps alot. do it in the morning & night before u fall asleep.

make sure the environment is quite as it helps you to concentrate :)
