Sally first women to travel into space dies
Sally Ride, the first American woman to fly in space, died on Monday at her home in San Diego. She was 61.
The cause was pancreatic cancer, her company, Sally Ride Science, announced on its Web site. Dr. Ride, a physicist, flew on the shuttle Challenger on June 18, 1983, and on a second mission in 1984. She was also, at 32, the youngest American in space. Dr. Ride later became the only person to sit on both panels investigating the catastrophic shuttle accidents that killed all astronauts on board — the Challenger explosion in 1986 and the Columbia crash in 2003.

we still at Qatar haven't invested in such vast classroom to accomodate so many uneducated - behaviour wise. Iam sure this action falls in an Article of LawBook, but its time everyone needs to be reminded of it by authorities itself.
Then maybe those men needs to be educated, but see that's no excuse, by doing this we encourage men to be more authoritarian and give a chance to those guys like the example you sat to go far with their behavior.
i always feel sorry for such people! they've achieved more than we'd ever dream of achieving! rip
QatariRevolutionist: That's coz even if a lady happen stand or walk on footpath beside the road, you'l find plenty of cars (with locals majority) honking & applyin breaks next to her. its so ridiculous & so ofcourse discourage a woman to even walk freely!
Sorry I had to shorten the title, but I meant first American woman.
Reading about Ride, makes me think that it's a shame that women in the Middle East still can't drive or can't travel alone even if they want to study not to mention some wouldn't even let the females walk alone from their house! Guess we'll have to wait till 2100 :)
So Sad, she was a role model to all the women in the world.
She is the first American woman to travel in space.
Valentina Tereshkova was the first woman in space.
Rest in Peace Sally Ride - You had an amazing life.
She has seen more than most of us. R.I.P.
