IAM PLANNING TO TRAVEL FROM DOHA TO DUBAI BY ROAD FOR THIS EID. PLS HELP ME WITH SOME DOUBT CLARIFICATION

HOW GOOD ARE THE ROADS TO UAE?

IS IT SAFE DRIVING AT EVENINGS AND NIGHT?

ARE THERE PROPER STREET LIGHT THROUGH OUT THE ROAD IF AT NIGHT?

HOW MANY HOURS WOULD IT REQUIRE TO SPEND AT THE BORDER,

IS IT RUSH?

THANK U

good road untill qatar saudi salwa border, lights all through. will take about 45 mins to cross both borders and get into KSA, no lights from there untill u reach the saudi UAE border will take about 1.5hrs to cross both borders after that lights for a few Kms, then no lights for another 250 - 300 kms, then before you reach Abudhabi bypass the road is lighted untill dubai. better to time it like one of the above advise.

you will need transit visa for crossing saudi arabia, and eid time means a lot of rush on the borders so time ur departure and return to avoid it. else add at least 1-2 hours for each border corssing.

how many hours it depends on your driving skills but average around 5 to 6 hours. roads are fine... for me once you reach U.A.E it would be more safe and proper streets. you need around 3 to 4 hours to get into U.A.E then another around one hour to get into Dubai.

I suggest you to go in the afternoon like 2:00 so you can get then by around 8 if you dont have the ability to drive that long specially in the night. but its not really too far its all about 720 km

*Enjoy*

To travel to Dubai you will have to go through KSA and its a very long drive. Better you a flight for Dubai as usually ppl do.

Make sure you have visa to pass KSA also.
