I think the service fee is reasonable.

Much lower than most countries.

From my experience, from most countries you are in, when you sign a contract with a network you are tied for that duration or you have to pay a penalty

i just buy alot of credit before leaving the country. Maximum we away 6 weeks to 8 weeks i just bought credit enough for that time.

How you top up your Hala while away from Qatar

hala card also coming with auto roaming ... i can still used my hala card while i am abroad.

Post paid comes with Auto Roaming facility :)

Pre Paid are for people who make less outgoing calls while getting more incomming calls.

Just go to any Qtel office & fill Subscription Cancellation form (Carry ID along). I guess the cancellation is fast. (Same day or a week)!

How do i cancel the post paid connection?I learnt i would have to inform Qtel of the cancellation one month in advance which invariable means i'd still have to pay the service fee.

Hala is the best...for people who dont make much calls, u get almost all the options u get in post paid.
