When is the proper time to invite a member.

275 over a year??? man u must be the most unactive member on QL. The rule says, u must have 200 points over 2 to 3 weeks of the time u joined Ql, not over a year.

Has it changed, RP? Didn't it use to be the total weight of the group?

To establish and earn your membership, you need to guess the total age of the whole group. Then we will vouch for you.

considering the membership rules:

Acceptance into the Social Group will be determined by the time period you have been a member of QL, and the number of points you have accumulated. Please don't expect approval if you have been a member for longer than two weeks, but have less than 100 points plus with that i will check your performance on main forum too.

Hence. Mathematically he is eligigible for membership. Unless there is something about the quality of his performance on the main forum.

So I think Darude is in a better position to comment on irf77 complain.

My understanding is that the admin of QLSG like to be sure people intend to be active members of QL before they are accepted as a member of the Social Group.

In other words by maybe joining in more with discussions on the forum.

I think this condition came about because at one time lots of people just wanted to go to the gatherings as a means of meeting the 'ladies', rather than making a positive contribution to QL generally.

Apologies to DaRuDe if I'm wrong on this, but I believe this was part of the reasoning behind waiting to see if someone is serious about being a part of QatarLiving and not just a social butterfly.

Oh! And this was also the case even before DaRuDe took over the administration, so it's not a new thing.

i think you just have to wait a bit more.. coz as per my understanding DaRu receives much more applications than he can accept at the same time.. His rule is accommodation of 2 new members only,in some period of time.. So just wait a bit more, and you will be in!
