shoes to fly home tonight!   I can't fetch up at Gatwick Airport at 7.00 a.m. with temperatures of 4C in flip flops.   I shall have to bandage my foot - but it's only a little nick - just in an awkward place and a bit sore.

Please send him our best wishes.   Just the thought of how deep that cut must've been makes me feel queezy - He was very brave to have carried on with the day as if nothing had happened!

I am a little red in the face too must admit I look healthy too today.

It was nice to see all the people again and a great trip just hope Khanan has recovered and is walking ok today. Unfortunately the first aid kit got lost.

The trip on the Dhow was great and very relaxing although I had difficulty getting in and out. There was such a great team work getting things off the boat my thanks to everybody for the support.

It was really a great day meeting and chatting with everybody again and a special big thanks for the great organisation for everything that you did to make it a special day.

Interesting to see all the people jumping of the Dhows and going for a swim looked as they were enjoying themselves, the water looked very clean.

Thanks a million for a wonderful day out.

great effort guys.

it really is extremely relaxing to be able to be out of doha  albeit for a day.it was a good beach ..shallow, not at all crowded,reasonably clean, free from jellyfish and sandy too.Also the water temperature was perfect.Nice views of doha from the boat as well.

it was good to meet lots of new faces while keeping in touch with the "older" ones...the kids had a whale of a time and the wifey just loved the water.i met gypsy gal & novita for the first time as also khanan,mufy,and speed.

gypsy gal for being kind enough to share their umbrella.good to see again a  trimmer KSA,a younger jauntie, a beardless martinez:-).jilfer ,KE owen and all(sorry if i cant put in all the names).

I could swim...but it's been quite a while since I've tried doing it in the deep part...and today was kinda scary but FUN.

made me realize I NEED to PRACTICE SWIMMING again...

all of you again today :) What can i say ... there are lots of nice moments there every time i would be with my QL Family ... some of those ... hmmmm? Let's see ...

Montee> Made his two friends go out of the boat to catch them later, but they were left alone as the boat made a move and poor Montee was trapped there ... called after maybe 10 minutes to check on them, been told that they are on their way home in a taxi while we were all around in the third boat :)

KSA> The moment of glory end when he went back to the beach, tried to jump out of the Jet-Ski and boooffff knocked the guy in front as well as the boat :) Don't ask me about the rest, the last moments of leaving the island were terrific :) Guess that was because of the sudden attack on Charan from KSA using the WWF style ... god .. even the glasses were broken KSA :)

Darude> Was roaming around looking for cool,nice dry people around to wet them in the water, knock them down and gangster stuff that all of we witnessed today :) ... what to say, he tasted his own medicine in the end and i had to drown myself along with him to make the missions succeeded in the end.

Khanan> The first victim that made everyone anxious about their feet, had to swim from the island to the boat and then again to the island to get some help to save this champ ...

Owen> She did not get extra clothes with her and that is why she was so afraid to get wet and were running and hiding here and there from all, finally ... the small kids did in the end what the elders could not and got her in the end :)

Yes did have a great time myself indeed...a couple of plunges...in the water...

Sheeeesh, I need to get a jet-ski, it was awesome a ride, a thrill ride of its own...(unfortunately, while getting off, i got off the wrong way, got off-balance, fell into the water, and dragged the Arab Guy as well into the water...LOL)

Overall, beautiful ladies, lovely kids, (and yeah yeah, good gentlemen as well)...and to top it all, some tasty food, and ofcourse not to forget the fantastic weather...

A Brilliant day to wrap it all up...

well i got few cuts while transporting stuff from boat to the land .. ii was a low water area and lots of shells and stones ... i notice few in the shallow water but luckly there were no jellyfish

I don't think I've EVER been brave enough to swim in the sea from a boat!  Today was a first and it was great, until I realised it wasn't the swimming pool and I wasn't in the shallow end :D

PM we got off the dhow and walked a couple of yards (2-3 metres) to the shore - lots and lots of sharp shells.

Soooooooooooooooper Day - Lovely people (except for the bully, who tried to drown me).  hee
